Lecturer across Faculties and Departments, have made use of the institutional Learning Management System, iKamva to setup their online assessments for students during the December 2015 and January 2016 exam period.
NB: Since the start of 2016, a number of 379 registered academic modules have been created within iKamva. A number of 112 lecturers have consulted and/or attended the introductory workshops related to the creation of their online environments within iKamva.
The CIECT Team (Instructional Design) will assist you to create your Instructional Strategy; advise on the pedagogical value of the eTools; and assist with the selection and application of specific eTools for effective communication, online assessment and content creation and distribution.
**These online environments are available to students irrespective of the geographical space and time.
Lecturers are able to view a series of Self-Help Videos (screencasts) on our (CIECT) – YouTube Channel to assist you with the creation of a basic online environment.
